OT - anybody got a dermatologist in OKC?...

Way off topic here, but I want a dermatologist to look at this ugly mole I just noticed on my back.  It's bigger & more raised than any others I've had.  (Thanks Mom for passing on all the lovely moles!)  I called the office where I've taken my 2 teenagers, but because I'm a new patient - they can't see me until May (that's with the P.A.), June if I want to see the doctor himself.

I'm sure this thing is just another lovely part of being a 38 year-old woman.  Facial hair & menopause are probably next ;-).  However, I do have a history of cancer (lymphoma back in '92).  Can any of you in the OKC area reccommend a dermatolgist for me?  Dr.  Koester in Edmond is the one that can't see me until Mid-May or June.  I can just wait it out, but you know how it is - kind of like waiting for our WLS surgery...I want it done NOW.  Thanks for any advice!!!

I use Dr. Raymond Corneilson.  He is with OU and teaches at the university as well.  I like him and it didn't seem to take long for me to get in either.   My oldest son is also a doc and used him and says he is good.  Good luck!

Wow...must be in the air...I had to go to the dermatologist on Monday to look at a spot on my chest that is getting bigger. I was relieved that he didnt think it was cancer but not so relieved when he said it was like an age spot. Ugh! Im only 37 do I really have age spots...At this rate I will look like a leopard by the time I'm 50! Good Luck!
