I AM TRYING TO REMAIN POSITIVE!

I GOT A CALL YESTERDAY FROM MY DOCTORS OFICE THAT THERE WAS A MIX UP WITH SCHEDULING AND MY SURGERY HAS TO BE RESCHEDULED. I WAS ORIGINALLY SUPPOSED TO HAVE SURGERY 3/10 AND NOW IT WILL BE 3/31. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, BUT I AM TRYING TO KEEP A GOOD ATTITUDE ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. I KNOW EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON...I JUST CAN'T FIND THE REASON YET!

I can't even imagine how frustrated you must be.  I'm really sorry that happened.  But you are right...There must be a reason for it.  I hope everything works out for you!

I am so sorry.  I know this has to be quite a let down but you are right...things happen for a reason and you may never know why.  Who knows...maybe someone will cancel and they can move you into another spot!!!  Hang in there girlfriend...we're getting you spot all ready for you on the looser's bench!!!

Waiting is so hard...heaven's knows I waited and waited, but you can not imagaine how fast this time will go. I cleaned my house, cleaned out closets and just did all I could to stay busy and before I knew it, the time was here. That is not much comfort I know, but I just want you to know we do understand how you much feel and I am so sorry.

It's probably impossible not to be disappointed, but just think of it as extra time to prepare for and practice your new lifestyle.

Your are totally right. Plus I will have more time to exercise. I have been walking at Lake Hefner. The better i am feeling and the "healthier" i am will prolly be better for me in the long run.

Waiting is so frustrating!!! Stay busy and TRY not to think about it too much and the time will fly by. Your time will be here soon.

I know exactly how you feel.  My surgery was supposed to be Aug. 20, 2007 but when I got to the hospital I found out that an instrument wasn't available and my surgery was postponed.  I was so upset and disappointed.  I felt like nobody cared enough about my surgery to make sure the instrument was available.  I finally had my surgery on Aug. 31, 2007 but the postponement really affected me psychologically.  I felt like a jilted bride left standing at the altar!
