Hey! I have some leather pants and a leather vest....(I can't get in them yet of course) but can I join up? I'm known to be a trouble maker on here anyway! LOL and talk about dizzy...maybe we can tag team...when one get's dizzy the other can tag up until they get dizzy and so on...

By the way did you call the Doc about your stomach pain?? You know we harp on people here until they do things!

NOPE...but I get to go bother Dr. Walton on Thursday bright and early and he and I are going to have a serious HEART to HEART. So I am not worried about it as long as Dr. B isnt there and yells at me I am golden. I see Dr. Keller as well just to make sure I am not crazy and the pain is not in  my head. Checking all my bases.

This is me.......  this is where Id like to be..........

Steph - I wish I had some magic words for you but I just don't know what to say.  I can't understand why WeightWise wouldn't just welcome you with open arms.  I mean, it's not like you came from a program down the street - you're from freaking California!  I find it very disappointing that they gave you this lame answer.  I just don't understand why you can't eat or drink.  That is a no-brainer!  You should definitely be able to drink and shouldn't be sick all the time.  I have no idea how you and Carringtonou keep smiling!  Bigs hugs to you both!

Ladies,

I completely understand your frustration over this situation as I am a patient who came from another program and have worked for WeightWise 5 years.  The doctors feel that the seminar helps them in the informed consent process.  This helps to ensure that a prospective patient (new or possible revision) knows exactly what to expect from OUR program and OUR surgeons.  I personally had surgery elsewhere and did not understand this philosophy in the beginning.  However,  I now know that it is the best possible scenario for the patient because all of the general program and practice questions have been answered and agreed upon prior to your initial visit with us.  This gives the surgeon the opportunity to focus on YOU as an individual at your first visit.  It also prevents time wasted in answering the differences between one program or surgeon and another.  Our surgeons are some of the most respected in the industry and our programs primary goal is to provide the best possible long term solutions to the obesity epidemic.  I apologize for your frustration and hope that you will take the time to come and see us so that we can assist you as necessary.

Teresa,
Thank you for addressing our concerns over our new friends problem. We appreciate your responding to it so quickly. It does make more since now, however; this patient seems to have
an urgent need to see a Bariactric doctor, since she is unable to eat or drink much. Would the same policy apply under these cir****tances since her doctor is in CA?  I doubt that she can wait for 2 weeks to get into a seminar.

If we didn't have such respect for WW, we would not have suggested she call there right away to help her with this. I assumed that the doctors there, also treated other types of bariactric situations besides surgeries and that is why I suggested she contact the clinic.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Steph, my suggestion would be to call the nurses desk or ask for the PA.  SOMEONE needs to know you have a problem NOW...not 2 weeks for now.  I really don't think either surgeon would want to think that one of the "desks" couldn't filter out a problem from a "regular appointment"!  Just my thought but I wouldn't just sit around and wait for 2 weeks for the next seminar.  We think too much of you and want you well and successful.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
