I just realized that I can swallow pills again and I am so excited. I have been rather bad at taking the chewable vitamins cuz I dont like the taste. Now my dilema is that I have lost the paper that showed the levels of vitamins that Dr. G recommended. What vitamins are you guys takin? I have Centrum with Lycopene....should I have something different? I am so excited because I know that I will get my vitamins in now and that is a good thing....

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.....

Lorna, my surgeon recommends Centrum vitamins. I compared them to bariatric vitamins and there wasn't hardly any difference in them except for the price. It is centrum for me all the way.

Lorna,
Citracal has a calcium citrate that is a petite size which will help.

I think Centrum is a good choice.  You might call the dietician at your doc's office and ask them though.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

How far out do you have to be to start taking your vitamins in a pill form?  I HATE chewing those darn things too!  GAG GAG GAG!

In th beginning I believe the issue is whether or not u can swallow the vitamins because of their size. A couple of weeks ago i started taking tylenol without cutting it in half and then over the weekend I got brave and attempted to swallow a vitamin. It went down and that was all I needed to know because I am sick of those nasty chewables!
