Off topic---Moving!

I know I am off topic here but since you all have helped me so much with my surgery questions I figured you all would be the go to people for this:

I am looking for an apartment in NW OKC.  If anyone has any recommendations for me or apartments to stay away from I sure would appreciate it!

I don't have a clue anymore but wanted to wish you luck in your move!  Years and years ago we lived in Bluff Creek which is at Hefner and MacArthur but I have no idea if they are still nice or not.

I lived at the Highlands at Penn and 122nd (12701 N Penn. to be exact) and they are nice (and affordable, too!).  I looked into Bluff Creek (as mentioned above) and they are also very nice.  They are the ones at MacArthur and Hefner.  Good luck on the move!

Jennifer, Let me know the area you are looking at and I can give you some thoughts....I know there are area's that are changing alot and becoming more or less...less safe. Like I live in N.W Okc,, the Bethany area  by the lake and could tell you the ones over here to avoid....I think actually the further N. you go the better you will be. Feel free to P.M me if you have any certain area you are looking at.

I live at Bluff Crrek and have been happy here ,,it is gated and i feel very safe and have never had any problems ,,,there are also lots of others in this area , hef and Macarthur,,,i really like the area 

My daughters lived in Bluff Creek too, right after high school. I, as a mother liked the idea that it was gated. I agree that THAT area of  N.W. OKC is a good area.  I would just say ask before you sign a contract. I had a gal who worked for my daughter that rented an apt before talking to anyone and ended up in a very dangerous apt. complex. Sure they looked ok and were cheap, but it was a very high crime area....That is my only fear for people just moving into a different area.  You are very smart to ask.

There are some apartments right across the street from my church just north of memorial on May.  They are very nice and some have garages and the place is gated.

I have a better idea, why don't you buy my place on a great acre and a half in Jones??? That would be cool! It's VERY safe, don't even have to lock doors. Everyone has pets and other animals (horses and cattle) and it's only 6 miles to Edmond.

HA ha ha. Mostly serious. 
I will be moving by summer too!
