Ok I went to the asian market and they have any type of broth you could want. I do not like ANY fishy tastes but I do love shrimp, so I thought...I will try it and see....I got Ham broth and the shrimp...I put Old Bay seasoning in it and it was not fishy at all and has a mild shrimp taste....If I had some unflavored Whey it in it, it might taste like a creamy bisque. I know I would have blown had it had a realy shrimpy taste, but this is half good.... It is made by Knor I think.  I just thought I'd mention it, in case you are on liquids and like bisque, it might be worth a try....

I will have this one again.. I cant wait to taste the ham broth.
I have pork too but haven't tried it.....

Edited to say....I may just be starving and that is why this tasted good, but in my own little mouth...it was good. Tomorrow it may not be....

That sounds good good good.  I bet an egg poached in it would be really tasty (when you get to that point).  By the time I got to mushies, I wanted as much savory and as little sweet as I could manage.

Thanks Anna, I am trying, it's getting very old though....This morning I went to get some green peppers and more onions and simmered those in my beef broth to have a new flavor and to get more vitamins...I pretended it was like a pepper steak broth........ I am running out of ideas but then I only have a few more days so I do think I will make it!

One note...the ham bullion I tried was greasy so I had to throw that out...

When I was on the liquid stage, my husband made chicken soup with all kinds of veggies in it and I just drank the broth - it sure was better than the instant broth I was going to drink otherwise.

I actually froze some chicken broth when I cooked some chicken for things, for this very reason. I also kept some beef broth from a roast I had cooked too....Those were the first to go....Now I am digging for ideas.  I don't know how anyone does it without trying to do something to it...

I agree I am having a terrible time also.  I am really tired of  broth and liquids in general.  It is really tough.  I am open for all ideas.  Sherry I will be at the diet class on Monday are you going?
Thanks
