Finally got my 1 on 1 apt set...

Today was the support group meeting for those of us who are going thru the program at Reynolds Army Hospital. This meeting was my last step before the 1 on 1 with Dr Reyes. As soon as it was over I followed the cordnator to her office an asked for my apt. So on 2-25 Im off to see the surgeon!!

Ok I also met Renae (soldiersxbabygirl) she came to our meeting an was a great contributer. They didnt have any post op'ers in attendance so she was the star of the meeting!
I want to thank her for sharing her story with the group and next time I promise I will stay and talk a bit!!

One step at a time and you are on the right track!!! Yahooooooooooooooo!!!

Yay!  Progress is being made!  And Renae is a fabulous story about making this work and even having babies!  So I'm glad she showed up too.

Kim~ It was great meeting you today!  I look forward to hearing about your 1 on 1 with Dr. Reyes and finding out when your date is for WLS!  I'm glad I was able to be of help today at the meeting and I look forward to attending future meetings and getting to know you and the others better! *hugs*

I'm so excited for you!!!  You'll have your date in no time.  You have an awesome roll model with Renae...she knows how to do this and is such an inspiration for many of us!!!!  I know for me prior to WLS it was encouraging to hear from folks who had been there, done that!  I wanted to hear success stories and she is certainly one.  Congrats!!!

Whoo Hoo we are getting closer and closer you will be joining us on teh bench soon!
