What are the symptoms of erosion or slipped band?

Hi Girls & Guys,
I'm going for an Upper GI on Monday. Since I have not lost any weight. Dr. Nelson (my new doctor) wants to see if there is something wrong with the band. Or is the problem me??? I can hardly wait. If I'm the problem, I'm going to start all over with the band. I don't want to pay for another operation. If I need to get a revision BCBS Federal will have to pay. Anyway, let me know if any of you all have had a technical problems with your band, what were the signs? My only sign right now is that I am still hungry. Thanks everyone.....

Hi Deb,
All I remember is that I had 3 fills and then 1 unfill. So I know that is not much. I will see what Dr. Nelson thinks after we get the results of the Upper GI.
Thanks

The upper GI was kind of cool (I had one) and it really reassured me to see my band, see it was placed properly and functioning correctly. I'm a very visual person, so it was a good experience for me.
I am a patient of Dr. Nelson's but was banded in Mexico. She took over my after care and I really do like both Nelson and the OWLO team. They are pretty serious about having you log your food intake and not just gauge your fill level by weight loss or gain. And I agree-because if you are eating lots of soft slider foods, you may be too tight already, and a fill would be detrimental.
It sounds like you have options now, and they are all positive ones-so things are looking up!
