I BE HERE
Well, with all the probs of moving and my wife, my dear mom has fallen 2x in a week. The last time, she pulled a muscle in her leg really bad. My sister took her to her doctor to get x-rays at Mercy. They finally called my nephew who is an x-ray tech at Bone and Joint (my other sister recently retired from there, being in charge of the surgical dept), and he got a doc there to see her. Luckily nothing was broken, but she can barely walk. I came in last night to take care of her until Friday -- have to take my wife to the Indian hospital Saturday for her own tests. She is still moving pretty slow with a walker, but good to be here for her. She cried when she saw me, as she didn't know I was coming in. She and my sisters are amazed at how much I changed. (I know they are just saying that to make me feel better. Like I told y'all, not that big of a change). Anyway, wanted to say hi from OKC! My sisters are coming over tomorrow night for beans. Yum. Might have to run over to Homeland too for some Tasty Kakes if y'all haven't bought them all up by now. Never heard of them, but looks good. Michael
You're such a good son! Your mother is lucky to have you. I'll be praying for quick healing for her, as well as praying for your wife. I'm sure your weight loss is quite noticeable, altho' I understand not being able to see it oneself.
Take care.
Blessings,
Mary

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom but glad you've gotten moved and your wife to her clinic and all that started. I'm sure your Mom was surprised to see less of you. You say you haven't changed and they were just "being nice" but that's not true...you HAVE changed a LOT. I saw you at the Christmas Party and I noticed a HUGE change Michael. You need to take pictures or have your daughter or wife take them for you at least once a month, print them and lay them down side by side. You WILL see it then. That's what I had to do. I still see the 408 pound woman in the mirror but it's getting better...I think. We forget they operated on our tummy's and not our brains!! Maybe they should have done mine....LOL Have a good one and come to our support meeting tonight if you can!!! Take care and tell your wife we hope she's better soon. She is such a lovely lady and I know you are lucky to have her!!! It's awesome to have a spouse as a big support system.
