3 mths today!
Hi, Everyone.
Well, today makes 3 months out of surgery. It's been a very pleasant experience, on the whole. As of today, I've released 43 lbs. (84 since my first consult with Dr. Walton, and 111 since my highest weight). I still want to lose 134 lbs., but I'll not dwell on that. Just taking it one day at a time. :)
The only negative thing (and it's only negative if I let it be, I know) is that I have little to wear! I'm used to ordering clothes via the BIG catalogs (even though I didn't do that often), but now, I have no clue what size to order. I'm losing inches in different places at different times, and so the size of my top half is not the same as the size of my bottom half. It's frustrating. I regret having gotten rid of clothes that didn't fit me, all along the way. Right now, nothing looks like it fits me right.
I need to find a thrift store in which to shop, I know, but I shy away from shopping, still. There are reasons. Anyway, y'all pray for me.
I do so appreciate all the support and caring that I've received on this board, in particular. I praise God for each of you. And speaking of praising God, I absolutely know that He has been my biggest supporter. I couldn't live without Him.
Sending Love, Hugs, and Blessings,
Mary

Mary~ Happy 3 month surgiversary! You're doing amazing on your weight loss and I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. As for the shopping thing, thrift stores are great as is a great clearance sale, I have learned in my experiences. I remember the stage where nothing seemed to fit right, but it does get better and it will sooner than you think. Keep your eye on the prize and don't let anything stand in your way! I know you can do it~ *hugs*

Hi, Anna.
Yes, I'd heard that, too, and it's proven correct for me. I know I grew up in the south, but no one told me I'd resemble a southern "bell." I'm so glad you said "it's all catching up." Gee, I hope so, for me. Thanks, Anna.
Blessings,
Mary
