Sherry, I'm glad it all went well.  It's pretty common for blood sugar to go high after surgery-the fasting, the stress, the anesthesia all conspire to do ugly things.  Once your body settles in to its new routine, I bet you'll see a dramatic drop.

I am SOO glad everything worked out for the best!  Our doctors are really good and what you are experiencing is a direct result of their skill.  Add to that the excellent staff they have and we can only lose...weight that is!!

You've given me some valuable pointers for my surgery on the 4th.  I will make certain to wear my sweats with the string tie to keep the incision happy!

Keep on truckin'!  It gets better from here!

PS...dang ol' bulletin board triple posted me!!  Ignore the deleted ones above!

Winn! Your new Avitar looks great!
Yep, I am trucking, going a little crazy over the liquid part, but I'm doing it!
Yes, WW was wonderful! The nurses are what people dream of in a hospital setting! Dr. Walton lost him mother the night of my surgery, so I didn't get to see him before I left, but my heart goes out to him....I can't believe that he is saving my life one morning and then loses him mother that same evening....
Your turn is coming up! I am so excited for you and your new life too now! Remember not to waste time on being fearful....I do know that!  I will say this too Winn, it is the most amazing feeling when it is over and you start walking.....I can't explain it....but you will experience it! It is unblievable!!
Get ready!!!!
If you want some ways to tasteup your broth...let me know and I will let you know what I'm trying and if it's worth trying or not! LOL

CONGRATS !!!  I, too, had it easy.  Now don't you feel sorry for those for whom it doesn't go so well?  Keep on plugging -- all the benefits will come in time.
