My weigh in day
Just wanted to share some of my news. First of all I weighed I am now down 101 lbs. I stepped on and off the scales couple times because I was in disbelief. 
Then Some of you may know that I have a 24 yr old son who suffered a T.B.I.[ Brain injury] in 2003 in a vehicle accident. And I have him set up in an apartment with 24 hour care. I have been looking for a house to accommodate him and his dog Guss . Here in Garden City this is very difficult to find. Well last week a Friend of ours who is a Realtor called and wanted to show us a house new on the listing. well we bought it . Se e to make a few modifications to get him moved in. So now Gus will have a big backyard to run in and I will no longer have to be the laundry pick up and delivery person. Kansas has a program that you can GEt up to $7,500 grant money to make modifications for handicapped needs such as Roll in showers and ramps and etc. So all in all it's been a good week . Now if all the work can go as planned. Just wanted to share my news. Becky
