My rings, silicone sizer, and more
I arrived in NY yesterday and went first thing to the jeweler as planned. The good news is that they CAN resize the rings -- from a size 9 to a size 5.5! I doubt my ring size will change much more than that as that was the size of my original wedding band -- at my skinniest. They may have to reset the diamonds in the engagement ring if the setting does not work with the new size. They will have it ready for me by Thursday. They were laughing about my silcone ring sizer and said they had never heard of it or seen it before. It wasn't quite as easy for them to get it off as the instructions said it was, but they did admit it did work better than anything else they had seen and it did not damage the ring.
My dad was shocked when I walked in the door. He said I also looked taller (told him he just got shorter - LOL) but thinks there will be nothing left of me after I lose the additional 46 lbs I have to lose. Still lots of other relatives to see!
