I put a couple of new Molly photo's in the No Snakes album.  I let Mom name her Molly since she's clearly not a vixen-and Molly really fit for her.

She's too little for Moon to care about-she's beneath him....LOL.

Molly is too cute.  What breed is she?

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

She's a border collie-she's Moonie's half sister, and the only solid girl in the litter-the rest were merles.  I had wished for a solid smooth coat that looked just like Momma, and there she is in all her glory!

Moon was naughty at the breeders-showed his teeth to Tracy when she was leading him off.  She explained things to him so that he better understood the pecking order...LOL.  He's a high drive boy-lots of testosterone going on right now too (for the time being) and I do adore him, but I'm looking forward to working with Molly too-she' a medium-low drive dog.

Drive affects dominance and energy levels, and females actually tend to fight more than males, so with my small and bossy girls, I couldn't bring a high drive girl home and still allow full pack interaction.

Molly is interacting with the slower dogs now, I want her to focus on me for a few weeks and learn the ropes before I turn her out with a larger group.  I did the same with Moon too.  Also, with Moon being intact, it ratchets up the agression on all the males.  I am looking forward to his being pruned....but I have to wait till he quits growing.

We're gonna need a little better pics than these 2 new ones.  I can't see her sweet, little face!

And I liked the name Vixen!  But I understand if the name doesn't fit you gotta do something else!

Congratulations on your new addition!

I love the name Vixen-but she isn't a Vixen.  One of my previous dogs, a chocolate colored smooth coat chihuahua was named Baso de Zora-which means Kiss of the Vixen.  I'll get another Vixen one day-so I'll just save the name for her.  (In fact, I met a little red mare yesterday that would be a perfect Vixen, but I kept it to myself....LOL)

Molly is gorgeous!  What does Oliver (the bird) think of his new sister??  I am sure he had a comment or two- right?

He wasn't amused with the whining and said "What's your problem, shut up!" but I bought him a new bag of craps today so he's pretty ok with everything....  He'll be fine as long as she doesn't raise a ruckus during opera time.

What is a bag of craps?

Um, Oliver gets opera time?  I thought he was pure country!?

Oliver calls grapes "craps".  He's a closet soprano.
