Thanks so much, Rita. I'm wondering if those with VSG, who don't have the malabsorption, only need labwork once a year. I'm going to ask at my 6-month post-op appointment. Surely, I won't forget this time. :)

Lets see Dr. Keith wants to draw blood everytime I go in.  I teased them last time I was in about being half vampire. I had blood drawn repeatedly in the hospital, at my two week check up, my 6 week check up, and had to go back 5 weeks later for a follow up to recheck teh labs as I was low in potaqsium, (ALL BETTER NOW) so it really depends on the doctor.
