Grandchildren are so precious!!! I know someday I will have one of my own to enjoy.
I went to the Weight Wise Seminar last October and Dr. Toby Broussard spoke. He is really informative, professional and nice. I had an appointment with him a couple of weeks later.
We talked and I told him that I would like to get a revision from the lap band to a VSG. What bothered me is that BCBS Federal will not pay for my surgery with Weight Wise because they are not in the network. I told Dr. Toby that I would talk about it with my husband and get back with him. We could not afford to pay for the surgery at that time. As it turns out BCBS Federal will not pay for any revision for me no matter who the doctor is in network or out, because there is nothing wrong with my lap band. The problem is me I did not work with the lap band. I'm so tired of it I want it out of my body. Another doctor in OKC did the lap band surgery for me.
Right now I'm ready to go self pay, we have the funds. I want to get started as soon as possible. I'm going to call the office on Monday 02-16. Do you know is there someone I should ask for a certain advocate, the last time I believed I talked to Cheryl? Please let me know what you think. I'm so wanting this VSG!!!
