Hi, Everyone.
I found out today that Dr. Walton's mother passed away last week. The funeral is Monday. I sent a card today in care of 1800 S. Renaissance Blvd., Edmond, OK 73013. If Dr. Walton is your doctor, or you know him, consider sending a card or a note. I'm sure it will mean a lot to him.
Blessings,
Mary

Mary, thanks for the information.  I knew she was very ill, and had moved in with Dr. Walton.  The last time I was at WW for the stricture he was with her and Dr. Broussard did the procedure on me.  I will send a card today.

I will do the same today.  He has spent these last few years supporting us.  It's the least we can do to support him in his time of need.

You guys are awesome - I knew this already but didn't know if I should share it or not - but he has been and is a wonderful surgeon and friend and I know this past time caring for his mother would have been difficult for anyone!  I can't even imagine being a physician and not being able to do something for your loved ones.  But as we are all reminded - God only gives us what we can handle and he takes care of the rest.  Please keep him in your hearts while he transitions through the next week especialy.

Since I have been talking to Brandy daily (basically) I know that the service is Monday and he is not planning to return to wor****il the 23rd.  If you have appointments and stuff scheduled you may want to check in with the office to see if you can realign things if it is doable or just to make sure there are no changes.

Blessings....Ruth
