Is Everyone OK?

I just heard about the tornado and am hoping everyone is okay.  That storm looks awful.  Please be careful and stay safe.

Thanks Kim for asking. I am in Bethany, a sub of OKC at 23rd and Council Rd. The storms have jumped over me 3 times now....I'm not complaining at all....My kids live in Cashion and the other in Deer Creek....so far all are ok. Man what an evening!
I wondered what I was going to do to pass the time  and to keep from being nervous about my surgery in the morning....Well, this took care of that!!
I talked to the people at Weight Wise and they said they had all been down in the basement most of the afternoon! I'm glad my surgery was not today!
It looks like it is going to be a long night for all of us!

Checking in!!!  We got missed barely!!  I work about 1/4 mile west of the intersection at Rockwell & NW Expwy - apparently they were jumping over us to hit Target and Chuck e Cheese's.  We were moved to the hallways at work and they even cleared the call floor at one point (I am in the training area right now).  So....it's all good in my world at this moment.  No damage to my car or anything...

Last I texted to Luanne they were keeping their children (Child Development Center at Integris) in the shelter area for the afternoon. She heard about Chuck e Cheese's before I did! 

I hope all is well..I know there is quite a bit of damage across the area...  Ruth

Monica, my little neighbor came running out and said "Debra, the tornado hit Chuck E Cheese!!!!!" and was quite distraught.  I didn't know what to say, so I said "Well, I'm glad it didn't hit here!" and she agreed.

Missed my house by a mile when it hit Oak Tree and waterloo.  still don't know if any damage.

Jerm - we must be close to being neighbors.  DH and I live at Danforth and Kelly.  I'll say that I was sweating it a little bit while I was at work since I knew it was so close!

But all is well here at my house and I am grateful!  I hope everyone else is ok too!

Oh my goodness!  I am so glad you are all ok, anxious to hear from everyone else though!  We're expecting it here tonight.  I hope you all stay safe tonight!

I live in Bethany too! everything was okay here, now we are getting a lot of rain, thunder and lightning...My brother lives up off Waterloo and he said there is a lot of damage up there, but his house was okay...Stay safe everyone!

I am so glad that everyone is ok and hope that we all stay that way througfh thsi wild night. Luckily I am in south OKC near down town and while we got some rain and the sirens we missed the fun. Stay safe everyone.
