A powerful lesson

I bought 60 cinderblocks to make a raised garden bed. It filled the back of my truck and I really new the load was there when I drove home. I'm halfway through the building of the bed (I'm working in 30 minute increments with rest because I would like to be able to walk tomorrow). In 30 minutes I cleared half a bed of cinderblocks and stacked them in place. How did I do it? One block at a time. Same as weight loss. One pound at a time.
Not only am I going to have the most awesome garden bed EVER, I am going to have a powerful reminder of how to accomplish a big task.
Edited to add: PS, if you do this yourself, get good gloves. Those things are not only heavy they are scratchy. I slather up with lotion, put on my gloves and get a good hand soak while I work (and my welding gloves smell wonderful too). Embrace your strangeness......

Whoo, I am pooped. I got both beds blocked in and the one on the cement pad lined with pea gravel and lava for drainage. So now I can order my dirt. The layer of gravel was small enough for me to haul in and put out, but the dirt will likely be cheaper and easier to do with a dump truck.
I also performed a scientific test-I did the first thirty minutes with no back support, the second thirty minutes with one of those back support thingies. It really seemed that the support thingie made a difference, I was able to go longer without stopping and both "tasks" were similar-unloading and carrying blocks. So, maybe those things really do work. (but only if you use them).
