I made the best spinach dip that is Weight loss surgery friendly, and it's awesome...

I bought a package of Knorr vegetable mix, and followed the recipe on the back of that package, which is:

10 oz box of frozen spinach thawed and drained, I squeezed out the extra liquid through a dish towel.
16 oz sour cream, I bought either low fat or fat free, can't remember
8 oz can of water chestnuts drained and chopped
1 cup mayo, I used fat free miracle whip
1 package Knorr's vegetable dip
3 green onions, chopped

this is the basic recipe, then I added about a cup of colby jack cheese, and 8-10 pieces of bacon, drained of grease and chopped...

All served with slices of bell pepper, cucumber, and baby carrots.

You wanna talk about good!!!!! yeah buddy :) and I don't have to watch the calories for regular spinach dip anymore!

What did you dip in to it?  You know, this would also be good if you baked it and let all the cheese melt and the flavors mingle and then put it on top of grilled chicken to give it some zing!
