Yes, I do. I don't think we ever "outgrow it" and I sometimes think I ate to compensate for affirmations I missed getting. But, I'm learning to affirm myself now.
I don't like having my picture taken either-I still haven't looked at my before pictures. And for the goal, when I weighed last week my scale started flashing "goal" "goal" "goal" and I have no idea why because I didn't set a goal, I just put the batteries in and hopped on last time I changed them out. But, I have to admit, it was nice to see.
Oh, Rita. I'm sorry. I should have gone downstairs to see you. I don't know why I didn't. Sometimes I wonder about my brain! I promise I will next time, in May. No hexes, please. :)

I am shameless about asking God for afirmation. I did this one time recently when I had been working acceptionally hard and felt no one acknowledged or realized it. I was preparing for a meeting of managers, directors and my boss and I prayed your prayer.. I asked that just one person would say something nice to me about how hard I had been working. To my surprise during the meeting, my boss says to the entire group, "I just want to commend Lisa on the great job she's doing" and everyone agreed. I felt joyous but more so that He had heard and granted my request than of the praise itself. Once again I realized that He can do abundantly above and beyond all we could ever ask or imagine.
