Can I expand my pouch by drinking too much?

I know I am only close to two weeks past surgery but I am having no difficulties drinking.  I can almost finish a 32 oz bottle by 11.  I don't take huge drink but do not have to wait 5 minutes between drinks I can drink 3 drinks at a time about a minute apart with no trouble.  I know they tell us not to guzzle and I am not but I feel like I am already close to normal on drinking.

Thanks,

Jerm

Dr. Walton has told me that we can't stretch our pouches by drinking.  But I am kinda surprised you can guzzle close to normal.  I'm really just now able to do that.  Wonder why?  If you're concerned about it, give them a call but I think you should be ok.  It's so great that you're getting your "water" in cuz I think that's critical.  I say "water" cuz I heard you say you don't like water either.  I have to mix something in it or it's not happening!

My sister was able to drink like that right away too! I don't think it stretches the pouch.

I think that is great that you are able to drink like that this soon.  It won't stretch your pouch.  Remember, they encourage you to drink as much as possible.  I was not able to do that after surgery, and had a difficult time getting in a couple of glasses a day.  I am just now able to start drinking more and a little more normal.  You're doing great.  Michael

I dont think u can stretch out the pouch by drinking alot of water. I was also one that could drink really good after surgery, and now I can empty 320oz in an hour or two depending on what I am doing. I drink close to 130-160oz a day....except for yesterday only got in 75

Re-hijack.  Fleemore, I thought about it, but like I said in another post, all my weight was lost in my butt.  I think if I posted my butt, people would still recognize it was me -- kinda looks like my face.    But really, I see your avatar, and all the others, with the recent new pics of Denise and LeDetra's avatars, I think, OMG!!! what a difference!  But, I look in the mirror and I see the same face, (ugh), the same bod, only flabbier (double ugh).  What's a guy to do?  I don't think I have changed that much -- you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.  Everyone would wonder why I posted another before pic and not a current!  BUT, if we could just GET OUR DEAR SWEET KANSAS MARY TO POST A BEFORE AND AFTER PIC, THAT would be a great day!!!  We're ready, Mary.  I love y'all, Michael
