I can't wait to get my hip fixed so I can ride my bike without pain!  I can't wait to dig in the dirt and get my flower beds in shape.  I am tired of being cold- can't wait to be warm.  And, darn it, I will have to go shopping for new spring clothes.  How sad!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I'm looking forward to Spring Break, March 13-22, because I'm taking my kids to Hawaii!!!

Also, I believe I might actually be able to wear a pair of shorts (long ones, Bermuda style) in public for the 1st time in about a decade.

I can't wait to  plant my garden again! I have to find someone who will till it, but I can do the rest...Anyone know anyone who does cheap tilling??? It's not a big garden, just a small one.
I usually do tomatoes, peppers, and a few other things....Last year I grew Louffa sponge goards up by my patio and it was wonderful to transform these into Christmas gifts for my family! It was amazing!! I am going to grow the bird house goards too this year. I think the tomatoes are my favorite! I love to dehydrate them and eat them for a snack! I love a good ole tomato sandwich too!!

I am looking forward to feeling healthier again and being able to do things with the grandkids. I want to feel as good as my mind does....I can do so many things in my mind and now I want to put that into action! I hope anyway!

Hey Debra, did you see on Rachel Ray about a Parrot that saved a baby's life?? It was amazing!
The child was choking and the bird started yelling MamaBaby MamaBaby...the bird had never said baby before but was sure yelling it...the birds owner ran out to see what was wrong and saw the baby was blue and was choking....It all turned out wonderful thanks to that bird!! I was amazed!  Also....do you still need toilet and paper towel rolls? I save them all the time but didn't know if you still need them....Let me know!

Oliver would love some more rolls-they are his favorite thing to shred.  I have to agree, tomatos are my favorite too.

Define SMALL.  If my father still has his mantis tiller, I'll see if he'll let me borrow it-I'll barter you a till job for a share of the pickings. (I don't eat much, so it doesn't have to be a BIG share). Mom is pretty much insatiable in her appetite for fresh veggies, so I always like to keep her supplied.

I'm toying with the idea of raised boxes on a side patio I have that gets lots of sun.  It's in the front of the house, which is a little weird, but actually Mom and my neighbor Carol would be the ones looking at it-so I'll make it tidy looking if I do it.  Today's vision includes string or lattice coming off the carport to support some string beans.

I would call small about 16' long and about 8 ft wide....I won't need it for done for awhile so there is no hurry. I also have a small fish pond...really small that I am going to turn into a smaller garden for like onions and root veggies....I think anyway.  The last storm threw a branch into it stabbed a big hole in it. It is hard plastic and  it would cost more to replace it than to turn it into a garden plot....soooooooooo I'm doing fun stuff with it!

Ok Im saving my tubes....I have a few long ones from wrapping paper rolls too, if you want those too?

Did you say string beans?  Forget bartering - I'll pay good money for them!

Are you craving them too?

One of my favorite things in the whole world is fresh string beans.  But they need a little bacon or ham in them to be the best.  But that's all protein, right?  Anyone I thought was a great green bean cooker, I would hit up for a pot.  Ask my granny - I'm shameless!

Yep, gotta have the pork it it doesn't count.  I don't really like canned ones, but I feed them to the fat dogs for fiber and filler.

I'll eat canned ones but they aren't my fav.  In fact,  I haven't had any since surgery.  They just aren't worthy of the valuable real estate I have now in the tummy!
