CPAP machines!

I just got a call from WW asking if I had any CPAP machines available to help someone who can't afford one....This is a wonderful project. I was able to say YES!!
If anyone has an un-used cpap that they will no longer use, please PM me and let me know if you would like to donate it to our project.
I know what I went through trying to afford all of this stuff and the cpap was a huge expense for me. I was delighted to have one donated to me to use.  This is what I want to be able to do for others who are in the same boat I was in.
Insurance companies will allow a new one after a year or so, depending on your policy.  If you are getting a new one soon, we would love to have the old one to help others.

My advocate said they have someone who will set the numbers on them. Now that they know I am trying to do this, they will be contacting me off and on to see if I have any available. We have masks and tubes thanks to KimJ, so we really can be a blessing to others with this.

Just let me know if you have an extra or are getting a new one to replace an older one anytime soon and want to help out.
Thanks guys!

What about old masks.  I have kept just about every tube and mask I have had.  If you need those let me know.

Jeremy, I'm not sure about reusing the masks or tubes, because of health risks or regulations concerning that, but if there are any that you haven't used it would be wonderful...I can sterilize hoses and the masks, but regulation wise, I am sure there are certain rules about reusing.
This is so sweet of you to offer and it shows the caring heart you have....Thank you for that!

I am so excited to be able to help this person and it is just because of this board that we are able to do this! What a blessing this board is to others in so many ways!!
Thank you all!

Jeremy, Anything you want to get rid of let me know....I have some replacement stuff for masks so I can look at them and see if they can be replaced or sanitized. It is worth taking a look at anything you want to get rid of.....

Brandy told me today that the lady who we gave the cpap to, just cried and cried. She was so thrilled to be getting a machine. She had no way to afford it and didn't know how she could get one....I was in the same boat so I understand how she felt. It just blessed me to be able to bless this woman the way I was blessed!  However; none of it could have happened if it weren't for this board and the wonderful people on here!

Let me know about what you have and I can get it from you at the next support meeting unless I get to have my surgery next week or not.

I'm so happy that you are able to help others!
I'll be on the lookout for more machines too!  Maybe mine one of these days.  I have to finish paying for it first!!! :0

That's wonderful!  If you ever receive a Bi-PAP, I sure need one (no insurance). My oxygen level is still way down at night, so I know that's what I need. I'm not sleeping too well, and it's a struggle. I'm sure it will get better, though.
Keep up this great ministry.

Jennifer,
Brandy told me that when they told the lady that we had a cpap machine for her....she cried and cried! That is worth everything, just to know this board touched her life like that! She had no way to afford one and we were able to supply it for her! That is what happened to me and we now payed it forward once again!  When ever you are ok'd to be off it and if you still want to....We would love to bless someone else with it.  Thank you for having such a precious heart!

I have been blessed greatly in my life and anytime I have the opportunity to spread it forward through giving clothes, food, anything I can I am always glad to do it.
