This would have killed me before surgery all that grease. I swear besides I would have to eat it every meal for a week or more, the grease alone would have me doing the 3 second bathrrom dash. OH BOY.

Oh yuck!  Now I'd love a good burger, but not one coated in lard!  I prefer my own cooked on the grill!
I can't imagine eating that before my surgery either.

34 lbs. lost before surgery on December 22, 2008.   105 lbs. lost prior to signing up for WLS.

Yep - I agree, it all looked pretty gross to me too.  But, you know I got to thinking about what and how I ate prior to my WLS and while I don't think I could have ever eaten that really big big burger I do remember eating like an entire Whopper loaded with cheese and the works plus a whole order of fries and never giving it a second thought.

So, maybe the folks in the piece aren't all that different from us.  Or at least from the way I used to eat.  I kind of found myself feeling sorry for them after I reviewed it again.  No one can be so hungry to need to eat all that at one setting.  Obviously, they, like I did and still do from time to time, eat for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with hunger.

Just some "food" for thought.
