Traveling and another goal met

I just got back from Denver last night. Traveling is so much more enjoyable now! But, boy did I FREEZE this trip! Tuesday morning I thought for sure I would be a frozen popsicle clearing the snow off my car as it was - 3 degrees outside. There was ice and snow on the ground but schools remained in session and nothing stopped, or even slowed down -- amazing. The friends I stayed with are used to the cold so every night I found an excuse to head to bed so I could crawl under the warm covers! It was not all work -- we did some more shopping and I even walked out of Victoria Secret with a little pink bag!
This morning I hit my next goal -- 100 pounds gone for good! Last year at this time I could not even imagine I would ever lose 10 lbs, much less 100. It still feels like a dream -- but a good one! Carbs and sweets have not been a temptation for me. We went out to dinner before I left for Denver and I shared dinner with the girls. As I watched everyone eat, I told my husband it actually makes me sick to think of eating that much food again. I am still trying to come up with a way to celebrate the 100 lb mark -- without food of course!

Sounds like buying something from Victoria's Secret besides perfume and whatnot would be a pretty good celebration in itself!  My office is in Broomfield, just outside of Denver, and right now I'm happy that I haven't had to go up there LOL

I'm so happy for you, Nancy. How about a day at a spa, to celebrate? You could get a facial and a full-body Swedish massage, and a pedicure. Doesn't that sound lovely.
Blessings,
Mary

Congratulations Nancy Gene!  What a fabulous milestone!  You should be very proud of your hard work!  Of course, you have to tell us what you bought at Victoria's Secret...

Denise - I'll go with you to Victoria's and we'll conquer that fear together.  I feel intimidated to go in there too.  But Lordy knows I could use a fancy enhancer from there!  What do you think?

I bought a new bra.Nothing fancy, just a basic one.  I have never paid that much for a bra before! My husband wanted to know if it was worth it -- most definitely!
