Okay so today I went back to work..YEAH I think, was not able to do anything b/c they have locked me out and Monday is going to be the first time corp can unlock me. Minus that is was not a bad day got dizzy and then went in the bathroom for about 30 mins spit up everything in my stomach and considering I am back on liquids that was fun. Got a headache about 30 mins later took some aspirin and then remembered that is not the one I can take, so I was freaked out about p+ssing off my pouch and ulcer. Went to the gym worked out for about 20 mins on my "lunch" b/c not like I am eating it was that or shopping so I just relaxed after. Went back to my office took all the wonderful tasting meds I have and a pain pill chest was hurting some horrible. Went to sleep for about a hour spit up again, why I think b/c today is Wednesday or maybe b/c it was 6:00pm have no idea. Finally I left and went home of course after a productive day at the office. OMG.....how did I do it before 5-10 hour shifts was I nutts? How on earth am I going to do this, my boss is such a "great" person really I miss them like you would miss a rotten tooth I looked so bad they were like go home. We need you we miss you but you look like hell. I'm like THANKS I am happy self esteem is not one of my issues geesh. So anyone everyone help....just tells me it gets better.

I promise it will  get better.  I was very fortunate in that I had no problems at all.  I had my surgery on a Wednesday and was off the rest of the week and the next since it was spring break and had scheduled vacation anyway. (changed it to sick leave though after I scheduled surgery)  I could have gone to work during that week but didn't want to ru****  It did take me about 3 months to totally get my energy back up.  Take care and don't ru****  We're all different and do this at different speeds.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

You are almost 2 months out and still having these issues???  I would call your surgeon and see what he has to say.  Are you still taking your acid meds (Protonix, Nexium, or others?)

I was lucky.  I could have easily gone back to work after 5 days.  I didn't since it was summer and I teach.  Good luck getting a handle on it all.  It really does get better- promise.

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

It's always rough the first day back after a long time off.  It will get better.

I have/had problems for a few months after each surgery...Sounds like your protein is low and that you are in need of a B-12 injection...Sorry some do the sublingual but honestly one shot in the arm once a month is better...
Have your blood work done to see if you are low in anything..cause thats what it sounds like.
The first day back is rough anyway..maybe you might want to see if you can do half days for a week and then build back up to those 10 hour days....
ANd make sure while at work that you have something to snack on.
hugs to ya
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
