Yeah, I usually weigh twice a month, middle and end of month...I am not one to want to get on the scales all the time, but the challenge made me think about it more than usual - you know, like when you can't have something and you really want it for that reason alone?

I'm anal, and I think the LAST day of the month is a better bet than the FIRST day of the month.  Why?  Because it reflects (somewhat) your efforts of the previous month, and then you move ON.  I think weighing on the first day of the month could be a downer.  Of course, we are supposed to be working on not letting the scale dictate how we feel.....but I still like the last day of the month.

When I was going to weigh****chers, I always reminded myself that the weigh in was about LAST week, not the coming week.

So, Saturday, and not again (except for doctors****il Feb. 28?  OH MY GOSH.

Well, Ms. GlitterGal, it is my opinion that you are suffering from PWS--
Pre-Weighing Syndrome. The only way to get through it is to...uh, get through it. Conquer it, instead of letting it conquer you, and take some Tylenol. ;)

I was weighed at  my wrist doctor's a while ago -- but I'm not sure that counts, as I don't know how his scale fits up to mine or Weightwise's.  I've got see my NUT on the 5th, so I'm waiting for that.  That's the ultimate word.  Then I'll be sure the one at home says the same thing.  We'll see -- but not Saturday.

Glitter!  You are so funny.  But, GET HOLD OF YOURSELF, GIRL!!!!  You are rationalizing.  SNAP OUT OF IT!!  You promised not until your birthday, and other people have not wieghed, so even though I am not in this, I vote that Saturday is NOT the day, your birthday is.  Even though I would rather have your rationalizing being over weighing than something bad to eat, it is still rationalizing.  Quit it.  Step away from the scale.  Take a frickin walk, girl.  You can do this.  Think what a wonderful b'day present you would be giving yourself if you made it through.  Think about it!  I have faith in ya, Muffin

Oh man!  I just read this and I feel so guilty now!  Here I was thinking I had done so well and that Saturday was gonna be the day and now this!  And I thought you were a sweet, soft, little muffin - instead you are a hard, crusty, stale bagel!  But I still love ya!

I still have not weighed at home but only at the doctor's appointment I had.  I think I've learned something in this....I am going to not weigh every day any longer.  I think I will steal Anna's deal and only weigh on Saturdays.  I think that would save frustration and maybe see losses more often.....at least you wouldn't be frustrated every day anyway.  A month is a LONG time these days to stay off the scales!!  Who would have ever thought that before WLS...never got on the things myself.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
