I've been a busy little bee

WIth the bad weather, of course we didn't have class today, so I braved the roads and picked up a friend. I had been planning on painting my apartment sometime soon, but knowing me, it would have been right before I get ready to move out in 3 years lol. She got me in the productive mood, so we started painting.

We started at noon, and here is it at almost 6 and I just got back from taking her home. We painted my whole apartment, top to bottom, and around all the big stuff. Then when I took her home, I was still feeling energetic, and my car had about an inch of ice all over it, so I got out my handy little scaper and went to work.

Now here I sit, in my chair, breathing in paint fumes with a window cracked, listening to someone that is stuck on the road right outside my house. I'm sore, I'm tired, and i'm dirty, but my friend and I pulled off a serious feat today...I'm so proud that I didn't give up half way through. She probably would have been a little irritated with me lol.

Great use of downtime!  You win the prize.  I've been more than a little lazy, working out a big more to compensate for curling up and reading the rest of the time.

Way to go gal!  I'm proud of you.  But you didn't tell me what color you painted everything and you know that us glittery gals LOVE color!

If it were up to me, each room would have been a different color, from lavender to bright yellow, lol...but since it is technically not my place, it's my landlord's, he said only white. But the paint that has been here the whole time I've lived here was a champagne color and was yellowed by tobacco tar from the previous resident, so needless to say, my walls were more than a little yellow, and with a glossy paint. Now they are nice and pretty with a more matte finish that is nice and bright white.

Also, we don't have class again tomorrow so I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with my day then...hmmm, I even cleaned my apt completely today as we were moving furniture around, so I just don't know.

I knew you were a power packed dynamo!  Good to see you're putting out some of that stored energy.  Nice to see how active you're becoming!  Do I hear marathon? Tulsa run is coming up ya know....

See, you're not just pretty, you're overcoming obstacles that would have held you back before...just think....before you might have just painted one or two walls before you got worn out....  there's nothing to stand in your way between you and your goals now except for air...and I think you can overcome that with relative ease...motivation that you have seem to have is only gaining ground with you! As always I'm mega proud of ya...
