Icy Weather

Good Morning!  I hope you're all safe from the icy weather.  I'm at work, miserable becaue I'm so sore from the procedure I had done yesterday, but I'm here.  I didn't sleep much last night because no matter what position I layed in I hurt.  I guess the gas got to me this time because I hurt so badly up in my shoulders.  I can hardly breathe, much less take a deep breath.  I was hoping for ice here this morning so I could stay home, but it didn't happen....really I am thankful that we were fortunate enough to not get what we came through yesterday.

Sorry that you are so still sore. I hope it eases up quickly. I wish schoo had been open here my kiddos are driving me crazy already. I was really wanting to go to a support meeting tonight too.

Glad you made it in safely.  Sorry to hear you are so sore today though.  I hope this is the last time you have to go through that & it will be smooth sailing from here out.

By the way, my kids are home with me today & I can feel the tension mounting.  ;-)  I think I'd rather be at work with you.  LOL

I will trade you the ice and snow on the ground for a clear ride to Tennessee...

Bundle those kids up and send them outside-that will wear them out.  I've been out once this morning and will go out again this afternoon.  I throw the kongs and stuff for about 20 minutes and I have me some tired, I mean TARD doggies!

Next year I'm going to teach Moon to pull me on a sled-he's too young this year or I'd have his butt out there hauling me in the snow!  Remember, there is a sheet of ice under that snow, so don't encourage the kids to fling themselves down and make snow angels.

I think this afternoon I'm going to try my rubbermaid lid sled idea....that's a little classier than a cardboard box, don't you think? 

Ahhh snow sledding on a rubbermaid lid!!  I haven't done that in a long time!  Unfortunately we only have ice here, so can't send the little ones out to play in it.  We are having early release at 2 p.m., so that will be good for us all!  I'm sure we'll be here tomorrow, even if it's a  late start, we don't release unless it is just completely unpassable....which I was in OKC yesterday, I know that it is up there!

I wish you felt better.  I pray that they took care of everything and you don't have any more problems.. Hang in there, it can only get better.
