Put some photos in the Album Called No Snakes-it's a reptile free zone!

The dog photos are funny cause the dogs just blend into the grey day, except of course for Moon-he's such a ham.

Good pics.  But, you actually trim a parrot's beak?  Learn something new everyday.  Do you do that, or does like a vet have to do it, and how is it done?  What about the parrots in the wild?  What happens with their beak?

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

I guess in the wild they have to work harder and keep their beaks trimmed down.  Captive birds need beak trims and nail trims and some people trim their wings.  Wings are kind of controversial and I see both sides of the argument, so my stand is "do whatever you want to do....."

Oliver is a good sport about getting on his perch and going back to his cage, so I just keep an eye on the doors when he's out in the house.  He doesn't actually fly a lot, but does get a big kick out of it when he does, and really, with all my other livestock, I pretty much have to keep an eye on the gates and doors anyway.

You babies are all gorgeous!  So, do you actually trim Oliver's beak?  Do you have to have help?  I guess you use special clippers?  I knew they had to have their beaks trimmed but didn't know the details.
