Going in for Round Two!

I woke up this about 5 a.m. with a horrible pain in my lower stomach.  I moved around on the bed, thinking it was gas pains and it would go away.  Finally got up and walked and walked, still no relief. Finally layed back down for a while about 8, then had to go to Walmart and get my mother's groceries since we were going down there today.  I had horrible indigestion again, so I finally broke down and called Dr. Walton.  He thinks the stricture is a factor again, so we're going to Edmond tonight and I am going in to the hospital at 8 a.m. tomorrow.  Dr. Walton is going to be out of the office, but he said Dr. Broussard would take good care of me....that was never a question in my mind.  He said that they could be a little more aggressive this time since I'm better healed.

Ugh!  Marsha, you have really been thru some tough times lately.  Let's hope they get to the bottom of this tomorrow and all this pain will be history.

So sorry to hear this! I had hoped by now, you would be feeling better. Please know I still have you on my prayer list and will continue to pray for you diligently! You are in good hands with either of the doc's there that's for sure.
I'm sure they will have you on your feet soon.

Marsha  I hope that it all goes well for you tomorrow and they are able to get it fixed this time. I will say a prayer for you.

Sorry Girl!!  You know I wouldn't wish a repeat procedure on anyone!  I saw Dr. W on Friday and he started me on aggressive ulcer meds - I may have to do the EGD too but he wants to see if he can knock it down with meds first.  Dr. B will fix you up!! 

Hang in there - it is a process - not always a smooth one...you need to be able to eat and drink though!!  I am hurting still and if the meds don't knock that down soon I will be asking for some pain meds soon!! LOL... I can make it about 5 hours between doses of carafate so hour 6 is usually not fun...  but I haven't started the protonix yet since my insurance wants to play a few games first.  Darn insurance companies!! 

Anyway -wishing you good luck and good versed!!  I'd take me some of that right now!!

We just arrived in Edmond a few minutes ago.  We started to wait until tomorrow morning to drive up, but the weather scared us into coming tonight.  I have to be at the hospital by 8 a.m., so hopefully the bad weather will hold off until we're back south again.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.  Ruth, I hope your meds start working for you, being sick is no fun!  I am so tired of indigestion and wondering if what I do get down is going to stay down. 

I'll let you all know what we find out tomorrow.
