I'm home!
Jeremy, that gas pains were the worst for me too.. It lasted for about 4 days. I did have Gas X strips on hand, don't know if they helped or not.. But it wouldn't hurt.. I got up and walked, and finally by day 4 I was starting to pass gas..LOL.. A heating pad on the tummy all the time too, helped me big time..
I am glad to see you home, and don't let the little ones jump on you, that would be pretty painful..
Welcome to the losers bench..

Glad you're home - we heal faster at home, don't ya know? I did use a heating pad and it helped the soreness. For a lot of us, day 3 is the worst of it (that's Sunday for you) and then you should feel better every day. Can't help with the gas since that didn't bother me but I understand that moving around is the only thing to help with that. I'm sure they told you this but make sure you press a pillow to your tummy before you cough cuz that helps a lot!
I'll be really impressed if you can stay off the scales until diet class! But I can promise that you will lose really fast in the next 2 weeks. And it seems like your body shape changes a lot in those 2 weeks too. So enjoy that part of the journey!
Take it easy and don't let the twins use you for a trampoline!

Hey Jeremy! Congrats on having the surgery. I had mine on Wednesday and the gas pain was awful but it has let up a lot since Saturday. Walking helped a lot. So I encourage you to walk as much as you can.
My side probably hurt the worst. I stayed up on the Loratab for the first couple days and after that the side pain wasn't too bad.
Congrats again!
