Well I made it home this afternoon at about 1:00.  I am still doing well trying to sip, sip, sip & walk, walk, walk, but still having some serious gas pains.  I can't believe how sore my stomach muscles are it hurts to cough.  I want to thank you all for your prayers and support on my journey so far.  I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't your encouragement and support.  I have promised my self not to weigh until diet class in a week or so.  Thanks again for all you guys do.

WINNIE YOUR UP NEXT!!!!!

God Bless,

Jeremy

The gas pains took me over a week to get better, but that was just me. The gas was the worst thing for me out of the whole thing....weird huh? It will get better, I promise

Hi Jeremy, glad you are home and that everything went well - yeah, the gas pains are probably the worse thing out of the whole recovery. Everyone is different, mine went away after three days or so - the more you move the faster they go away. Keep sipping and walking....Congratulations and welcome to this wonderful journey!

Jeremy!  Congratulations!  Sounds like you're doing well, except for the gas pains.  I can't help you there, it didn't bother me at all.  You're going to be so thrilled with the results of your surgery!

Congratulations again!

Hugs,
Marsha

Congratulations Jeremy and welcome to the bench! Sorry about the gas. I have no suggestions as I was one of the few who was not bothered by gas after surgery.

Hi, Jeremy.
Welcome home! Walking (inside) will help with the gas issue. Also, some people said that using a heating pad behind you, when you're sitting, helped. I found Gas X strips (from WalMart) to be very helpful, and I let one melt in my mouth every 4 hours, during my waking hours, until the gas was no more.
You're doing great! :)
Blessings,
Mary

Welcome home, Jeremy.  Hope the hospital stay was as great for you as it was for me.  Aren't they the absolute best?  The gas pains were the only thing I had trouble with.  I thought that this was the way I was going to feel the rest of my life!  It was the only thing that cause me buyer's remorse, and I was hacked at everyone for not telling me I was going to feel like this forever!  I couldn't tell if I was in pain, hungry, full, etc.  On the sixth day, they went away.  It was like night and day difference in the way I felt.  Good luck and welcome to the bench.  Michael
