Why is it that if you gain 5 pounds everything you own suddenly gets tight....yet you can lose 47 pounds and not go down in sizes???!!!

OK so truth is ....the month before I had surgery I bought a bigger size jeans cuz all of mine were too tight to sit in all day at work. I did go back to the old size a few weeks after surgery....but I haven't budged since. It is so frustrating to have lost almost 50 pounds and not be able to dig deeper into my "skinny" clothes closet.

So that was my vent for the day....I feel better.

I don't have answers for you Lorna, but I know that sooner or later your body will catch up with your weight loss. It will.... Then you will be digging deep into that closet for your skinny clothes! Just hang in there girl!

Lorna...I did the exact same thing.  Don't go too long without trying on the smaller clothes though because I did that and missed out wearing some.  It seemed like all of a sudden it happend but not soon enough for me either!  I remember the frustration.  I could see it in my face and other places but not my butt or the bod!!!  Hang in there.  IT WILL HAPPEN!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Our bodies are marvelous machines...I felt that way also...SO I drunk more water and exercised more. Then BAM sizes went down.
The quickest I wnet sizing down was the  tummy tuck...
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
