This was weird......

I was sick yesterday due to really bad sinuses, plus my tummy and I were not on good speaking terms...so I stayed home. Today I woke with still terrible sinus and I was in the kitchen trying to get some sinus pills from the package when I got really, really dizzy...so I sat at the kitchen table (we have those high off the ground chairs that when I was heavier I had trouble hopping on..) - I guess I passed out, because next thing I know I was on the floor being awakened by three dogs licking my face (I love my puppies!!)...but I guess I hit my leg against something because now I am limping.....Fun day so far!!!

This has happened before...and I know that it is a drop in blood sugar - when I got off the floor I ate a piece of dark chocolate and I was fine - (love my dark chocolate too) - I guess it is a good idea to keep something sweet around the house after all!!!

I'm so sorry you had such a crummy start to your day.  So glad you are okay!!!  Bless your heart.  Hope you are feeling better soon and keep that chocolate on hand in case of emergencies.  ;-)

I'm sorry to hear you don't feel well.  You sure need to keep some crackers or your chocolate in your car and desk at work in case you feel dizzy.  May daughter is insulin dependant diabetic (juvenile type I and since 11 years old) and this happens to her quite often and it can be dangerous....  Take care of yourself!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Anna!  Your banana was mad at you?  I'm so sorry!  That is scary that you passed out and woke up on the floor.  You're lucky you didn't crack your head open!  Take care of yourself.  And, no, I will not use this an excuse to let you get on the scales...!

You can get a netti at Walgreens in the sinus section or in the health food stores.  It's a little pot you fill will warm sal****er and use to rinse out your sinus with.  Yes, you hang upside down over the toilet or the tub, pour water in one nostril and in runs out the other nostril.  Sounds gross, and at first it is, but it feels so good and it keeps your sinuses moist and clean.

I used to have to have cortisone shots in each nostril my sinuses were so bad, since starting with the netti, I haven't had a sinus infection.  It won't stop a cold or flu, but it will keep you from getting the secondary infection.
