Well I nearly chopped my freaking finger off today at work.  I was cutting into a package and my hand slipped and sliced DEEP into my left index finger.  I went to Urgent Care and got 3 stitches.  I cant type for crap right now since I am holding my index finger out of the way.  LOL I am such a dork.

I am making Pakko crumbs, flax, and coconut flour coated chicken for dinner tonight.  I found a 1 lb bag of the flour at Akins for $7 and some change.  They also have the Pakko crumbs there too for about $3.  Will let you all know how the chicken tastes.

I went to Extreme Nutrition last night.  Wow they are such nice folks.  They were VERY friendly and helpful and they want to work with me big time to help me get back on track and get these pounds melting off again.  They will give us Bariatric folks a discount.  They have a location at 101st and Riverside area and a location in Claremore.  They also make shakes and have my favorite protein drink Cytosport for those of you who HATE powder.  They are also looking into getting the coconut flour for me too.

As you are probably well aware, the tips of your fingers have about a zillion nerves in them.  Ouchie-roonie.

You will heal faster with stitches.  I never get them and then spend a couple of weeks wishing I had.

Dan! Gloves brother!  other than that, glad to hear about the chicken!  I love anything made with panko!  You already know I love the fried chicken with coconut flour!  Spice it up good since the hot oil will float it away from the chicken!

Try coating the chicken with almond flour and then sauteing in olive oil -- it's next to heaven !

Smooth move ex-lax!  Glad, though your finger is still intact.  Hope you don't run with scissors in your hand!  Have not heard of the Pakko crumbs.  Sounds interesting.  Do let us know how it turned out.  Michael

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Dan-O you so need to watch where your cutting. LOL I hope it heals quickly. I am happy that you found a new place to get your protien drinks from. I tried some of teh muscle milk premade in chocolate and it didnt set well on my tummy well. I might have to try the Cytosport to see if I can do it. I like the ideal of having a redy made one I can keep with me on the go.
