LOL Ok so how is my fellow NO SCALES Brigade members doing? Have you stayed of those addictive scales the past couple of days? I have though I will admit that when I drove past my doctors office yesterday taking a friend somewhere I my mind was screaming Turn in! Turn in! Turn in! Its a doctors weigh in it wouldn't count.  Luckily I was able to resist that sirens call and stayed off the scales for another day. I do though have a legit doctors appointment early next week for my B-12 shot and to get a recheck on my levels as I was low on some things last month due to the tummy bug I was just recovering from. My potassium especially was low so for the past month I have been taking them twice a day as well as my normal vitamins. OWLO is great about making sure that everything is going good.

Take care and remember its one step and one day at a time.

Yay for me!  I have stayed away from the scales!  It's easier during the week than the weekend and they are calling me less loudly right now.

FYI - If you VOLUNTARILY stalk down the scales at your doctor's office so you can weigh, that is cheating!  (all rules are subject to change at my every whim...!)

Congrats gal!  Hey, at least you get to weigh next week.

No weighing for me yet.  I did "get weighed" on Monday when I went for my doctor's appointment that was made a month ago at my PCP!!!  Glitter said that didn't count.  The scales were good to me that day, however!!!  Wooot wooot  I think it helps not weighing every day for some reason.

Doesn't count because it was a legitimate doctor's appointment.  (unlike MommaHen's thoughts of storming in to the doctors office!  LOL!)

Glad you had a good weigh in - now back off of the scales!!!

Hmm stalking the scales LOL how appropiate. Yes legal appointments don't count but I was tempted since I was just like right there. OK I have confessed I feel better. We are making this ONE DAY AT A TIME! And we rock.

I'm not part of the NO SCALES brigade, but admit it's never been that hard for me to stay off the scales aside from doctor's visits.  Dr Warnock puts it in your head when you're early out not to weigh unless you're at the doctor so I got in that habit.  This week certainly wouldn't be hard to stay off the scale as someone is here for their monthly visit (TMI, I know LoL) and I don't want to see the 5 lbs of water weight gain haha.

Sarah~ You're doing great to watch your levels so closely.  My potassium level got dangerously low when I was about 5 1/2 mos post-op and it landed me in the ICU.  Way to get a handle on things early on!

Thank You OWLO is diligent about doing labs they have done them at the 2 week and 6 week visits and called me to let me know and called in a prescription within a couple days. and set me the appointment for a recheck after being on it a month. I have been very pleased with teh care I have recived from them. On a side note I was starting to get a tingling numbness in my legs when my level was low and since startinhg the potassium it has stopped so I guess that was a warning sign for me.
