Fleemore alot of insurance will cover a panni if you can document rashes and issues from it being there and do not refer to it as a TT or Plastics but as a medically necessary Panniectomy.

MammaHen, who documents it?  Me.  Do I just take pictures and note dates and times that I go to the doc for the rash or something?  Thanks for the advice...I appreciate it!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

check with your company to see what is and what isnt covered anad what it would cost you to add that to your policy....Plus some PS will do a form of credit

I didn't know that WW had plastic surgeons. I am going to talk with Dr B about it when I see him on Feb 4th. That would be great because I love the WW hospital, they were so good to me and did a fab job with everything. I will give them a call before my appt in a few week. Thank everyone.

Fleemore,

My insurance paid for the panni.  I was very fortunate.  My doctor said he couldn't believe it was covered.  I was turned down for two plastic surgeons, but they submitted them as tummy tucks, Dr. Pin submitted it as a panniculectomy and medically necessary, and it was covered.

Hi Cheryl,

There is Dr. Galoob in Ardmore also, as Pattiurple stated.  My friend had him do her tummy tuck and last fall he did her arms and breast reconstruction.  He did a great job for her.  The benefit she had from him is he comes to Durant for office hours one day a week, so that was convenient.

Hugs,
Marsha

Wasn't there a plastics speaker at WW support group once.....I thinking his sounded  like Panchet or an India type name...I don't know if he is with WW or was just a speaker.
My daughter went to some lady at Mercy and she did a horrible job. She advertizes alot on TV but her work was awful!
I have heard great things about Dr. Love...but know nothing about  him other than what I have heard.
I'm sure this will be a subject many will be interested in real soon!
