Biggest Loser Discussion (Spoiler if you haven't seen)

I'm kind of glad they kept Joelle on, no matter how bad she irritates me.  She just hits a point either in work outs or conversation where she just shuts down-and she needs help to get past that point so that she can move forward.  I really hope she gets it.

Strategy wise, if I wanted to win that 250K, if I were a woman (and I am) I'd vote every big man off every chance I could get.  Sorry fellas, but you guys drop consistently big numbers.  Those two teams of big men are going to be tough, even weighing together one can drop enough to carry the other through a bad week.

Hi, Debra.
I agree that there's something going on, emotionally, for Joelle. She gets to a point and shuts down, checks out. I recognize that familiar look in her eyes. Been there, done that. I'm hopeful that she will take advantage of the opportunity and do the hard work now. We'll see. Just like everyone, she deserves breakthrough, but she has to want it bad enough.
It's true that the wisest choice to vote off, as far as game plan, was the guy. I'm so glad they show an instant update, as it helps one not feel so badly for the person who left. [Maybe I'm just too sensitive.]
Anyway, I'm enjoying this season's Biggest Loser. I just wi**** wasn't at the same time as American Idol, which I also enjoy. I keep going from channel to channel, which annoys my family. :)
Blessings,
Mary

Uugghhh!!!!! I can't believe it turned out the way it did.. But the key question here is DOES JOELLE REALLY WANT IT???? I think she is all filled with words and no action... Your right, she needs to break out of it.. But will it happen??  Or will Bob kick her off himself??? You know he is about to go nuts, he is going to freak next week when he walks into the room and she is sitting right there..LOL I don't want to miss that look...

I was wondering if Tara model was going to play it again this week.. At first when they shot her just sitting on the bike, I though she's not working it again.  She has ammunity so lets see if she pulls a big number.. She did however do GREAT..

I am scared about next week already,  it looks as if the 2 young boys might fall below the yellow line.  Guess, we have to wait and see..

I am enjoying this season.. But last season we all hate Vicky and this season is Joelle.  Every season will have some sort of drama..

Keeps it interesting..

I was surprised that they voted to keep Joelle.  So was she!  I almost got so mad that I turned off the TV when they were in Detroit and Karen went off on her every time she talked to her.  When they were in the Gym...That was just DUMB!  I can see getting your point across, but to run it in the ground the way she did was just Psychotic!  Sometimes I think Joelle is just a punching bag to them!  Other times I want to punch on her too!  LOL!  This year Tara is my fav.  I like it that Vicki and Hebba aren't on there.  I did NOT like them and their GAME PLAY!  To me, I guess it is a game, but its inspirational too.  Its more then just a game when you are looking for inspiration!  (I hope that makes sense!)  I just don't like MEAN people!

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me." Erma Bombeck

I think Joelle has learned to say "I can't" just to keep people quiet.  I hope soon she realizes that she can.

I was totally shocked and I wonder how the people who thought  Joelle was a goner will react back in the house....OH the DRAMA! You know who I'm really impressed with....Alison Sweeney I grew up watching her struggle with her weight on Days of Our Lives and while I loved to hate her on that show where she played the spiteful and sometime downright evil Sammy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her on this show! I kinda feel bad for hating on her at all! As far as the contestants...I'm SO sick of Joelle and I wondered if the contestants wern't encouraged to keep her around to keep the drama going....because I know I feel like voting her off when I'm watching the show...I can't imagine being there and haiving to be around her 24/7.  I'm getting a little sick of Mandi, she wines and cries about EVERYTHING!!! I understand being emotional and being homesick...I'm quite emotional myself but if your that homesick, jeez girl trade me places!! I was Soooooo proud of Kristin this week...jumping for 2hr45mins...I have trouble just sitting for that long! I'm still cheering for the Black team...Blaine is a little obnoxious but I have a bit of a crush on Dane....he's a hottie! I'm worried about David's diet at home, I fear it's not going well. Fried chicken and pizza arn't something they're serving on the ranch i'm sure! In fact I wish they'd show what they were serving...because when you whatch the show they never talk about the nutrition aspect...that's a huge deal I think, One cannot get by on killer exercise and sugarfree gum alone!

Yeah, my mouth was a hangin' open when Jilian's team voted the guy off.  Will be interesting next week when I'm sure that will be discussed after her team promised they would vote however Bob's team voted, and support their decision.  Then, they did just the opposite.

I was so ready to see Joelle gone.  I don't know what her deal is, emotional I am sure, she just doesn't seem to want it as bad as some of the others.  I thought her partner should have stayed at the ranch to start with though, right off you saw she wasn't as committed as she needed to be.

I think Bob may blow a gasket.  Can't really blame him, she takes up time he could be focusing on other people *****ally want it.

I am glad to see this season isn't back stabbing like last season.  I love to watch the show but just about qui****ching it last season with all the stuff going on.
