Ok I look really rough in the recent photo but I had just returned from a walk along the river in Oklahomas lovely nonstop wind. Obviously the Left hand side is me at my heaviest this past summer and the right hand side is me this weekend.

Thank You Sheila,
I really didn't see the loss till I put those pictures together in Paint Shop earlier. I plan on keeping on walking and want to add some weights soon.

Pattye,
I cried when I saw them together too. This was the first pic I had allowed to be taken after surgery. I wanted to see what everyone else was talking about because I truly don't see it in the mirror. I can in the picture though. I couln't bring myself to post the full body shot because I became aware of just how slouchy my before clothes were and well now they hang and bag in all kinds of places.  And lets face it I am still over 300lbs and have alot more weight to lose. You know my personal goal that Dr. Keith says should be easily reached for me is 200lbs and I know I will still be a big girl to most people but I won't reconize myself. Thank You for being an inspiration to me both now and when we first meet on LOD.

I was told before I ever had RNY to always be me to give unto others to be a blessing. So thats what I try to do Sarah. Your goal will be reached and then some. 200 is almost where I am at so when you see me you will see that being at that weight is not as big as you may seem to think.
Take your before pic shrink it down to a wallet size and then periodically take a pic and compare it to the former ones...

I am definately going to start taking pics more often. I know 200 isnt big to me it sounds small but I quess the old insecurities are still there big time as I was talking to a lady and she was curious about what kind of diet we have and then ased my goal and she got this shocked look on her face and goes but that is where I am right now and I want to lose ,I am too big. She then went on to ask me if I was still going to be big why did I have surgery. I lost my cool at that point as I had already answered a thousand questions for her and told her if she didnt like it to kiss my @ss! But the comment had already stuck in my head.
