weird feelings about the opposite sex noticing me

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE KIND OF PERSON THAT DOESN'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE THAT I DON'T KNOW OR CARE ABOUT THOUGHT ABOUT ME BUT GIVE ME SOMEONE I LOVE AND CARE ABOUT AND I WILL WORRY ALL DAY LONG ABOUT WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT ME. MY HUSBAND HAS ALWAYS BEEN SUPPORTIVE OF ME IN WHATEVER I WANTED TO DO OR BE AND I LOVE HIM FOR THAT. HE HAS NEVER MADE AN ISSUE OF MY WEIGHT AND WAS EVEN "HANDSY" WITH ME WHILE I WAS AT MY HIGHEST WEIGHT.BUT NOW HE CAN'T KEEP HIS HANDS OFF ME AND I AM BY NO MEANS COMPLAINING. BUT I THINK IF HE HAD BEEN STAND-OFFISH TO ME WHILE I WAS HEAVY AND THEN COULDN'T LEAVE ME ALONE AFTER I LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT MY FEELINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN HURT AND I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT OUT ON HIM. YOU KNOW LIKE NOT HAVING SEX BUT THEN I REALIZE THAT WOULD BE PUNISHING ME ALSO SO THAT WON'T WORK! BOY I DO RAMBLE SOMETIMES!! KEEP YOUR CHIN AND TURKEY NECK UP AMY AND ENJOY THE ATTENTION! JUST KNOW THAT YOU DON'T NEED THEIR ATTENTION AND ADMIRATION TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF!!

Good post...and very thought provoking for me. 

Being single and closer to 50 than 40, omg, am I really THAT old, I have been thinking about all this dating stuff lately.  It hasn't been a priority for the last several years because of various things like moving 1500 miles, and raising a teenager, and working,

However, move is done, teenager is a senior, and work is stable. 

I have also noticed that I am being noticed more.  But, I honestly think it's because of how much better I feel about myself.  I'm wearing cuter clothes, paying more attention to my hair and makeup, and generally smiling more.  I'm loosing slow and it's not THAT big of a difference.  At 5'8", my weight loss is just starting to show.

Amy...Last night was girls night and some friends and I went out to see this band we enjoy listening to. And before I was rarely noticed by men, but my good grief, I was like a piece of meat last night!! I'm married and love my husband, so this comment has nothing to do with him. BUT, MEN!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously think they can be some of the most shallow things (lol) I've ever been around. Ok, that's just my take.......
