There you are MR SEXY!
I am  cheater I admit it..Food wise that is....To me if I am told I can not have something that makes me even more determined to eat it. So As I have found out certain foods are just a friggin waste of time to eat..ie wavy potato chips I ate them for like 2 weeks and for my stupidity I had a werid trips to the potty and I mean alot of them. Sugar does not make me dump just nauseated so why mess with it. I am a southerner and paula dean has nothing on me when it comes to frid chicken....chicken isnt chicken unless its crunchy. I have taken reciepes from her and modify them for me. GOT to have my chessy grits and lord forbid if I dont have a whole wheat biscuit once in awhile.
The key to me is not worrying about OMG I can not have this ever it is ...how can I have my cake and eat it too. Instead of wasting time crying over what I cant have I now use it to make what I want healthy.
my biggest lesson is one that I learned along time ago..any thing processed is not worth eatting. As for pasta I make my own..yes sir whole wheat flour and a egg white with some water makes the best pasta..it just takes time to make certain pastas and since I am not working I have time to kill. Potato sald is now made with califlower and I also make faux mashed tators using califlower....
For me this surgery was not to get thin just healthy..it was not about me becoming sexy(cause I already am) it is about living the best that I can be without dying young and having to have some poor slups carry my oversized frame.
So Sweet Tom please send me your lifestyle eatting plan. I have only four months to go before my hunnymoon period is over.
BTW I love ya
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

Ok, I opened your post and my mouth literally dropped open.  You look great, and yes, skinny.  I want to get to the point where people say, "Your too skinny."  Just to hear it once in my life!  The only thing I can't relate to your post is you talking about a food obsession.  Gee, never had that at 424 lbs!    I can't open the ".dat" file you sent me for some reason.  Can you send it another way, or tell me what I need to load to open it.  Thanks, guy, and congratulations.

I will admit to going wow when you finally posted a new pic what a change. As for your recipes I love them and actually have ypur honey dijon porkchops on the menu for tomorrow night.  I will admit to cheating atouch as well. My menu plan allows for whole wheat toast 1/4 to 1/2 a slice starting at 8 weeks. I have missed bread so badly and I stay clear of the subway in the local wally world as I literally drool over the fresh baked bread. So I have allowed my self 1/2 a slice of toast with an egg for breakfast a couple times in the last two weeks but  my bread craving has stopped being so bad. T. I am proud of your hard work and keep on doing what you an dthe doctor think is the best for you.

T, you suck! (I say that with love.)

Now to hijack your thread, I want to know how I, as a woman, can kill those nasty monthly cravings? I caved today and had 3 cookies. 3! That's 300 calories!* Damn you hormones!

*I went to the Y and ran (running for me is jogging for most people) so I burned them off. OK, I only ran for 6 minutes before I thought I was going to die. With the other weights and cardio I did, I burned 350 calories. Go me!

Hi, T.
If you're skinny and happy & healthy, then more power to ya. If you're skinny and wasting away & feeling tired and stuff, not so much. Only you know how you feel.
Since you had your surgery in OK, who are you seeing for after care? I guess I just need to know that you're taking proper care of yourself. I'll quit hovering now, for now.
Blessings,
Mary

T.

IMHO from the little that can be seen from you avatar picture, you do look a little bit emaciated.  The point is, how do you feel?  and are you receiving aftercare and if so what does your dr. think of such a rapid weight loss?

I'm not sure if I read this correctly, but its seems that I read somewhere here a while back that you lost all your weight in just a few months.  Your beginning weight was over 300lbs. ? and now you are at 160 something?  Sounds like that would be extremely hard on your body.  To lose that much weight in just a couple of months would mean you had to drop a huge amount of lbs. each month and still get the adequate nutrition that your body needs.   That hardly seems possible, but, if I remember correctly, I thought that's what you had written.

Anyway, I do hope you are well.  Maybe I just prefer to see a person with a little "meat" on their bones.  Just want to make sure you are getting aftercare and your labs are all checking out OK.  And - wanted to clarify that I am remembering other posts etc. where you said you lost the majority of your weight in a couple of months.  Let us know.

Huggs,
Pammie

ps - Oh and how tall are you?  160 something on someone who is say 5"8" is different than on a person who is 6" or so.

Well the doc knew that I wold lose everything within 4 months just because we went over my plan and he grilled me about it and told me that I knew my stuff.  I pulled the weight in 2 months instead...but I had nausea for a little of that, s I had some unfair help.  I got put back on track from Rita and Ruth andKim threatening to beat me i i didn't eat more..so i chose to avoid the beating and the food I ate changed a bit to get around the nausea and I was much stronger the second month because of those changes.  Now that I'm lighter and I've eaten so many healthy foods like flax and carrots and more raw foods along with my bad foods... I'm sronger than i expected to be and I'm able to run for extended sessions if I want...however I stopped running just to stop the weightloss....( my ketosis is pretty deep, and even though I can eat pizza, it doesn't stop my fat burn in the least.....now if I ate pizza everyday for a week, the would pull me almost of out ketosis...so that's bad...it takes weeks to get it this deep.)

So I still lift hundred pound bags of concrete and stuff and feel incredible nearly everyday...my only problem is sleep...I'm not getting much...but that isn't the fault of anything but me... hehe.

I'll be taking a few shots in a few weeks, and I'll post them so you don't just see one shot.

Hey T, not gonna get into a long post here. I dont disagree with what you do at all!!!! I did however just add 3 things to my grocery list. I have been platooed for 2 months now and I think it has alot to do with I am down to the last 28 pounds to lose. I cannot exercise per my drs orders. So my friend!!!!! PM me with a few things that you think I should pack in my kitchen to help me jump start my diet again!!!!!!!

Love you as always
