The temp here this morning is minus 5 degrees.  With the windchill factored in it is minus 20.  I have lived here all my life but I just can't take the cold anymore.

I won't be walking today.  Will have to find another way to get my exercise today!

Any ideas on how or what I can do to get my workout time in while staying out of the cold?

Brrrrr and I am freezing at our  temps this morning I can't imagine where you are. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

As for an indoor exercise how about putting on your favorite music station and dancing around the house for awhile. Another my Physical performance counslour recommended was air boxing.

I'm thinking our new work out song should be Lisa's "I'm Beautiful!!!"  It has such a beat!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Hi, Pam.
Put on some lively music and dance around the house. (I look forward to doing that again, someday.)
We have a few inches of snow, and the temperature is 11 degrees, with a windchill of -20 degrees. That's cold, for Kansas! I'm not venturing out to go swimming today. I plan to use my arm bike.
Stay moving, stay warm.
Blessings,
Mary

How about fly to OKC and clean my house?  That would warm you up!

Our cable station here has a "free zone" work out station.  Maybe you have something similar?  How about pump some cans of green beans or big old cans of spaghetti sauce?  That would work your upper arms.

I got a recumbent bike at Academy for about 100.  I love it.  I don't care what the weather is doing, I can sit and watch biggest loser, the news, whatever and ride for miles.  Try it, you'll like it !

pammie its cold here brrr! I was going walking but its 23 with wind chill at 11 I cant take that kind of cold so like you I am staying inside.
I have this little contraption that is a stepper takes up only a foot of area and you stand on it and make it go up and down. When I first got it and I did not see how it would help but after a few minutes it makes a good cardio work out. I also do the resistant bands. And I drive my dog crazy by walking in my apartment..now he thinks its a game so he will have me chase him....only problem is he gets wore out quick

being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
