Im slow to the start! - New Member here

Hey everybody!

I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I had my surgery on the 12th, so Im still pretty fresh out. They released me from the hospital yesterday and I'll be heading home later today after my appointment with Dr. Warnock.

My name is Cait, Im from the Lawton/ Ft. Sill area and I had the RNY.  Needless to say, Im still a little sore but things are looking up and I have been feeling better! I'm really no good at introductions but I wanted to say hello and get aquainted with you lovely ladies and fellas! I'm sorry I havent been around much, things have been kind of hectic, but I would really like to get to know everybody!

Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I look forward to getting to know everyone! Please say hi, I dont bite, I promise! lol

Hey Cait!  So happy you finally came out of lurkdom where you belong!  There aren't too many shy ones here.  (at least online anyway!)

Congratulations on your surgery.  You are going to be amazed at how fast your body and attitude changes in the next couple of months.  Enjoy the whole process, it is so life-changing!

If you have any questions, please post.  There are lots of RNY'ers here and they are perty smart peeps!

Have a great day and take good care of yourself.  But DRINK!!!  Early and often!

Welcome to the "Looser's Bench" Cait!  Hang on to your hat because the ride is fast and furious!!  It has been by far the best thing I have EVER done for myself and I would do it again in a heartbeat.  My life has been forever changed for the good!  Take care of yourself and remember to sip, walk, sip, walk and take it easy!!!  We look forward to hearing updates from you...and pictures too!!

Welcome Cait....I had mine 2 months ago. It was the best decision I ever made. Everyone here is great...dont be afraid to ask anything or share anything. They have been there...doen that and will help you in any way they can.
