Good evening everyone!  I am home from the hospital. Whew what a ride I was on!!!  I did have a stricture and Dr. Walton fixed it somewhat today.  I didn't talk to him after the procedure, but he told my sister it was almost completly blocking my intestine.  He didn't stretch it as far as they usually do because I am so early in my recovery, so I may have to have it again.  I had to stay to get bags and bags of IV solution.  I ended up getting four I think, but could have been five.  He told the nurse to tell me that I could come home on one condition....that I didn't wait so long to call next time.  He was so good to me, and the staff at FBH are the greatest!  I am so thankful to have quality health care providers.

I'm off to bed, I'm worn out.

I'm sorry you had a stricture but am glad that Dr. Walton was able to fix it.  Take care of yourself and rest as much as you can.

glad you got that taken care of and it was an easy fix!  You'll feel so much better!  The sore throat will probably kick in tomorrow, but for me it was just the slightest hint of a sore throat.  VERY tolerable.

Marsha glad they found what was wrong and got  you back on the mend.  Now listen to the doctor and dont try to be so tuff next time.

I am SOOO glad Dr. Walton was able to help you.  At least you know what the issue was and know what it feels like.

I'm glad you're back home and things are fixed up for now.  The doctors at WW ALWAYS want to hear from their patients especially if there is a problem and DO NOT wait!!  They give their cell phone numbers to us after surgery and they answer it personally...not a service.  It's your life we're talking about and they (as well as us) want you healthy and successful!!!!  Have a good one Marsha!!!  Dr. W is the best!!!

There's nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed.  Glad you're home.

I was wondering how you were doing.  I'm so sorry  this happened to you but so glad you went in and took care of it.  I agree with Walton!  Listen to your body and don't wait so long next time!    Better to be overly concerned than to miss something.

Please rest, take it easy, put your feet up, and DRINK!!!!  It's amazing how much better you will feel just after some fluids.  Particularly after 4 or 5 bags!  Dang girl!  You were thirsty!  Do they give you the margarita or the pina colada flavor?  LOL!
