I tried to eat chinese chicken when I was on solids and salisbury steak that my roommate made from scratch...To this day I cant even look at the latter it made me so sick. As for the chicken I now make my own...the dumping was just not worth what it tasted like...

I have days where I think I did a great thing...Then there are days when I wonder what the Heck I did to myself.  I miss food somedays. I don't want to seem ungrateful for the gifts in my life though.   I'm going through some changes at home so I Hope thats most of my problem.  I have lost some weight and I have this feeling to start a new job.  I'm having a hard time dealing with leaving my 9 year old.  I've always been home with him... But thats a whole other story.
Pattye, thanks for this post, Its informative!!!

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me." Erma Bombeck

have you had any complications....No.  I was quite nauseated in the hospital due to the anethesia, but that's always common with me.  Everything seems to be going quite easy right now.  I enjoy fixing wonderful meals, trying new recipes, and not sitting down to eat them.  I feel more comfortable eating soft foods than I do trying whole protein.  Just nervous about something getting stuck.  I still get tired by taking a simple shower but hey, I am only 3 weeks out.  I am ready for a active and fun filled summer with my twins.  I am ready to start camping and going on hiking trails and enjoy this wonderful gift I have been blessed with.  I am cooking healthier meals for my family. and knowing that they are eating right.  I know I am doing this for all of us.
