Ok, I called Dr. W.

Actually I called the nurse's desk and Tina is going to ask him to call me back.  I woke up with a pain in my left side this morning.  Tina thinks it might be gas pains, and I hope that is what it is.  I took one vitamin and one calcium this morning and have drank about a cup of water and I feel like I'm going to explode.  Can't get anything else down, nor do I want anything else.  I'm pretty tolerant of pain, but this is a sharp shooting pain.  Pray it's only gas, although I'm going to feel like a fool!  LOL

Hugs,
Marsha

Hi, Marsha.
I pray it's only gas. It probably is that. If it is, just be thankful. You will not appear foolish. Dr. Walton will be so glad you called, as that is what he wants. Keep walking, as that will help you. You might try a heating pad, too. Keep us posted.
Blessings,
Mary

Dr. W is out of town, so I have to call Dr. B. in a bit.  I have gotten a bit more water down, so that is good.

Marsha,

I had a terrible pain on my left like 5-6-7 weeks out...i can't remember but it felt like I ripped something like a stitch...  needless to say it lasted only a day or two or three, then I felt a ton better all of a sudden...  i hope yours is something simple too....  I'm thinking about you...

If you think it might be gas...or rather, hope it might be...I would go ahead and take a Gas-Ex thin Strip...that way, if it goes away, that's what it was, and no harm done. I had a gas bubble around 7 weeks out, and boy howdy, did it hurt! Hope you get to feeling better.

I talked to Dr. B. he told me to take some tylenol that the pain is normal.  I did.  We'll see I guess.  I did take a Gas X thin strip earlier this morning.  Hopefully it will disappear in a day or so like T. said.  I have done so well, now that I'm three weeks out I'm falling apart!  LOL  I hate feeling bad...it just makes me in a bad mood and I'm never in a bad mood.  :(

Thanks everyone!

Hugs,
Marsha

Marsha the pain you are feeling is more than likely scar tissue forming. Same thing happened to me. It does go away. That is the site that the staple gun went in and out of during surgery as well as all the other instruments. I know that it is uncomfortable but it will go away. Hang in there. Rita
