1-08 30 min yard work (heavy)

1-09 10 min walking

30 min lunging/saddling

60 min riding

       150 min riding

1-10  NOTHING-I was pooped

1-11  30 min wii bowling

 

       320 for the week, 540 minutes for the month

im not bragging , well maybe just a little because just like everyone else , most of my life was spent on the couch , ,,,i workout 7 days a week at the gym , i am up to running , 1 mile a day on the treadmill and walking the other mile , i do the elipitical for 10 mins and then do weights 5 days a week .....im not saying by any means this rountine is for everyone ,,,and i want to make sure i say that i have gradually worked up to this over the past year .....i am hoping to increase , because i am planning to run a 5K or two this spring ......

Girl, I'd be bragging my A## off all the time if I worked out like that.  I am so proud of how well you are doing-when Mom starts band bashing I casually mention my "friend Luanne who is now running races......"

thanks ,,,,,,i am proud !!!!! i have never run in my life ,,,,just goes to show how much pressure all the extra weight puts on the joints , and how it can turn around with weight loss

Way to go Luanne....

I don't remember what days I did what so I will just quickly recall what I did..

40 min bike

30 min bike

walked 1 mile to park with kids on bikes, walked back to car 1 mile (total 2 miles)

went bowling with family Saturday night

cleaned house..

I believe that's it..

Monday and Tuesday - 60 minutes water aerobics
Wednesday - nothing! (sick dog and stupid parent as previous post indicated)
Thursday - 30 minute exercise DVD
Friday - nothing (still dealing with sick dog)
Saturday -3 hours moving furniture and  cleaning carpets (see information about sick dog!)
Sunday - continuation of Saturday for 3 more hours.....

FYI..the dog has an ear infection and she is really miserable.  She was so dizzy and that was creating an upset stomach and poor puppy, she has been sick for almost a week.  We got additional medications today so I sure hope she feels better soon.....

You are all doing so good! I'm starting to see how this works - is it motivation or guilt?  LOL

everyday i walk 30 minutes in the morning do 15 minutes on the stepper and 15 minutes resitant bands. and then in the evening another 15 minutes on stepper and walking 20 minutes 


does quilting also count as exercise?
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

Everyone is doing an awesome job.  Moving furniture is definitely exercise....quilting is not eating....
