Hi everyone! Can I join this wonderful group?
Hi everyone! First, I'd like to thank you all for sharing your journeys with me. I have gained tremendous insight from you and feel like I already know a bit about each of you. Soooo, I thought it was time I introduced myself. I'm married and DH and I both work in the IT field. We don't have kids but we have more than enough furkids to compensate. LOL
I enjoy gardening and I volunteer in animal rescue when time permits.
I have to lose 12 pounds before I can set a surgery date at WW. This was sidetracked when I had surgery on my foot on 12/16. Something about being laid up in bed isn't conducive to losing weight. I hope to get my act together for surgery by the end of January.
Thanks again for sharing. I have probably learned more here than anywhere else. I look forward to joining the group officially.
I apologize for the Avatar with sunglasses. It's the only current picture I have and the ghost man avatar was freaking me out. ;)

Welcome! I have a few (hahah) furkids myself, and some feathered ones, and scaley ones......They keep me busy and not so full of myself.
Last year I spent learning where not to plant things if you want them to grow-this year my fingers are crossed and I'm hopeful.
Hello Jerri and Welcome! So happy to welcome all newbies here! This is quite a journey and it's more fun when it's shared. Ask any questions you might have. Someone here will have an answer for you. Probably several someones!
What do you do in IT? I have worked with a lot of network and programming peeps. Maybe you're one of those?
I love animals. I have always thought I should volunteer at Free To Live animal sanctuary in Edmond but I have never taken the time to do it. It's definitely on the "to do" list some day.
Anyway, really happy to have you. I should also mention that we are having a support group dinner next Friday night, January 16, in OKC. I can't remember where your post said you were from but you are welcome to our dinner. They are having one in Tulsa some time soon too!
Kim
PS All of my babies have been or are fur babies too!

Hey Jerri! I know how you feel. I had to have knee surgery before my WLS. Thats okay though, it all worked out for the best. You will be on the losers bench in no time. I love gardening too...are those cannas in the background on your avatar? They look beautiful. -Amy
